Blingy and glittery Las Vegas is always on everyone’s list without a doubt.Who wouldn’t want to spend 24 hours if given a chance. I would 24 hours would be too less, isn’t it? The weather was pretty hot in summer when we visited and so make sure to pack the right dresses for Vegas.
I flew from SLC as always for a cheap Frontier ticket of 19$ + taxes.:P Yes you heard it right! I just paid 19$ + taxes and I spent 15$ to reach the airport lol.
In Las Vegas Strip
Praveen drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and it would always take him close to 8 hours with traffic. We had booked an AirBnB room and hence we checked in, had our dinner and headed out to explore Vegas in the night. The very first time I visited Vegas, I was in complete astonishment looking at the architecture of each building. So royal and all blingy & glittery. You must be 21 years old to play at the casinos and they do check your ID cards, so please have your passport with you at all times if you are not an American.
We parked our car in Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and decided to explore the Strip by walking. We tried our luck in most of the casinos until morning. W won most of the times and lost few times too.
Make sure to visit the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino if you are in love flamingos. They have created an artificial habitat for them.
Do take the ride at the LinQ. We took it in the day time. LinQ is just behind the Flamingos Hotel, as you walk by the lane to the LinQ you do come across the cupcake ATM. You get cupcakes in the ATM.
In the evening we visited the Stratosphere Las Vegas Casino and Hotel Tower. This is the tallest building in Vegas and it’s from here you get the best view of Vegas. This view is from the 108th floor, there is a bar surrounded with huge glass doors for the view.
Famous Las Vegas Sign
This Las Vegas sign is at the start of the Strip near the airport and Mandalay Bay Hotel. It will always be crowded for a picture in front of Las Vegas Sign and we waited for a good 30 minutes in the hot scorching sun for this picture, but it’s worth it in the end.
We hardly had any time to rest, but we did enjoy Vegas so much. Do travel to Vegas and let me know how did you like it. There are many other things to do in Vegas and if you are not much of a Casino person, you can check out my blog post for the same.
